The best discreet AFO for an active person Let me just say that this company (Aider) has been my companion since 2016 when I suffered a peroneal nerve injury that left me with foot drop. I first used their Type 2 brace. The Type 2 brace was first and foremost very discreet. It can be worn over a sock and it is nearly unnoticeable even while wearing shorts. I’m an active person and I needed something that would keep me from tripping while functioning throughout the day.I just received the Type 3 brace and it works even better…

This one is the best by far I have to say, I’ve made the rounds of all the OTC foot drop braces that might be effective for bare feet. This one is the best by far. Even though it’s soft, by designing it to come under your toes and by pulling the front straps up tight, it works quite well. It also offers ankle support against inversion, which is huge!I’ve used it in the pool as well, since walking in water can be difficult with “flop foot”, and it made a huge difference, so I’ll order a 2nd one just for…

GREAT I have pretty sever foot drop, (which causes me to fall often, as well as I get rug burns on my toes) I wear an AFO that goes to my upper calf… I was specifically looking for something with the same support BUT smaller for the summer. I spoke with my physical therapist before I bought it…FOR the price, it’s worth every penny. NOT as much support as the AFO, BUT quite a bit better than I expected!!!I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PROJECT!!!
